Cowardly Lion, whose real name is Leo, is a lion who is characterized by his cowardice, weakness, and timidity. However, he also possesses a deep-seated desire for courage.

Living in the vast forest, Leo is often bullied by other animals. He dreams of having a brave heart so that he can lead the animals in the forest.

When Dorothy and her friends pass through the forest, Leo joins their group, hoping that the Wizard of Oz will help him gain courage.

Along their journey, Leo faces numerous challenges. Yet, with the encouragement of his friends, he begins to develop more courage, confronting dangers, protecting his friends, and doing what is right.

In the end, the Wizard of Oz awards Leo a Medal of Courage. However, the true source of Leo’s courage lies within himself. He has learned to face his fears and act with bravery.

Despite his initial cowardice, the Cowardly Lion possesses a big heart, courage, and selflessness. He serves as an inspiring example that everyone can overcome their fears and become better individuals.
